About the Role
Group Internal Auditor :
• Independent planning and implementation of international internal audit projects with a focus on finance
• Analysis and evaluation of business processes, risk management and the internal control system with regard to efficiency, regularity, appropriateness and effectiveness
• Audit planning and conceptual development of audit approaches, processes and methods as well as data analysis and automated audit routines
• Preparation of meaningful audit reports and presentation of the results to management
• Support in process optimization and continuous monitoring of the implementation of audit recommendations
• Direct reporting line to the Board of Directors or CFO
Profile :
• Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance, auditing, controlling, internal auditing or a comparable qualification
• At least three years of professional experience in internal auditing or controlling in an international company or an auditing firm
• Strong understanding of business processes and accounting according to HGB and IFRS• Sound knowledge of examination techniques and methods
• IT affinity and experience in data analysis tools and methods
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (SAP or Navision is an advantage)
• Excellent analytical thinking skills, a quick grasp and intercultural competence
• Assertiveness and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Willingness to travel internationally as part of audit projects (~ 25%)
• Very good knowledge of English, other foreign languages advantageous

Salary :
The range and offer of salary will depend on candidate experience but you can expect a guided salary of €80-85k
Other Important Information :
Travel expectation: approx. 25 %; Typically, the audit team are planning approx. 8 audits per year. Most of the branches are in Europe, so the audits are usually planned Mon-Fri without weekends abroad. An intercontinental audit could take two weeks, with a free weekend for sightseeing in between.
Experience Required:
- The ideal profile will have experience in auditing based on a solid education in financial topics. Preferably 2-5 years’ experience at an audit firm in auditing commercial companies.
